Comfrey has been used for centuries as a bonding and healing plant. The soft, broad leaves were used to bandage or ground into a poultice to aid the healing of superficial abrasions. When added to a base oil it makes a wonderful and useful infusion. That is just what we have done with this comfrey salve. We infuse olive oil with the dried leaves of the plant adding only jojoba and  vitamin e oils, beeswax and shea butter. It is intended to be used on minor scrapes and cuts, chapped elbows or knuckles and is excellent on hang nails.  Because it heals from the outside in, comfrey salve IS NOT intended for use on deep cuts, wounds or burns. There is no color or scent added to this product. The green color and the earthy scent come exclusively from the comfrey itself.
Breathe Balm is made by combining pure menthol crystals, butters, beeswax and essential oils. It has the similar, strong scent of our shower steamers and is a nice balm to add to that experience in the shower. When rubbed across the forehead, behind the ears or at the temples it can relieve tension and congestion. Avoid eye and lip area.
